What is the difference between the rift and the coach house?

The Rift is the name of the Victorian main residence and the estate name. The Coach House refers to the property's original weatherboard stables/hay loft which have been renovated and converted into luxurious weekend accommodation.

The Rift is a private home and currently unavailable for accommodation hire. However, guests of The Coach House are welcome to explore the entire gardens of 'The Rift Estate'.

Can I hire 1 room/2 rooms/book for 4 people?

Smaller groups are always welcome to book The Coach House, but it should be noted that the house is rented in its entirety, and prices reflect rates for 13 people/6 bedrooms.

Occasionally we accept a reduced rate for a smaller booking if midweek - please enquire.

Can I book this weekend/Next Weekend?

Weekends at The Coach House tends to book out 3-6 months in advance (but with mid-week week availability).

Do you have a Minimum night stay?

Yes, there is a standard 2 night minimum stay and 3 night minimum stay on public holiday weekends and other holiday/event dates.

Can I host my event at The Coach House?

Events are not permitted at The Coach House.

How do I proceed with booking?

To confirm a booking and lock in dates, we require a 50% non-refundable booking fee. The balance and bond are payable 1 month prior to your arrival date.

We cannot reserve dates without a booking fee.
